FLORIDA OPEN UKRAINE

Nataliya Kaspshyshak

Born in April 1979 in Lviv, Ukraine. Aries. Engaged in ballroom dancing as part of the folk ensemble Edelweiss from 1986 to 2003. Master of Sports of Ukraine, two-time Champion of Ukraine in ballroom dancing (1997–1998). Graduated from the Lviv State College of Culture and Arts (Choreography) in 1994–1998, class of Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine Oleg Semenovych Holdrych. Graduated from the Lviv Institute of Physical Culture and Sports (Choreography) in 1998–2003. Served as class leader and recipient of the Volodymyr Kuzy Scholarship (Canada). Graduated with honors from the Kyiv University of Culture and Arts (2003–2007), majoring in Stage and Mass Event Directing. Chief Choreographer of the Maria Zankovetska Lviv National Academic Drama Theater (1998–2008). Created choreography for more than 60 productions, including Blood Wedding, The House of Bernarda Alba, Three Loves, State Betrayal, Khanuma, UBN, Silva, Ivasyk Telesyk, and many others. Also choreographer for the Ternopil Drama Theater, production of Cyrano de Bergerac. Worked with renowned directors such as Fedir Stryhun, Taisiya Lytvynenko, Hryhoriy Shumeiko, Vadym Sikorskyi, Alla Babenko, and Vyacheslav Zhyla. Choreographer at the Lesya Ukrainka Lviv Theater (2008–2014), working under artistic director Liudmyla Kolosovych. Staged around 8 performances, including The Forest Song, The Hired Woman, The Dog in the Manger, and My Dear Pamela. Director and Artistic Director of the modern ballet Stelz (1998–2007). The group collaborated with well-known Ukrainian pop artists such as Taras Petrinenko, Ivo Bobul, Anatoliy Matviychuk, Pavlo Tabakov, Viktor Pavlik, Iryna Fedyshyn, Nazar Savko, and others, and also performed solo programs. Participant in 11 beauty pageants, winner of the title Mrs. Prykarpattia 2003. Director of beauty contests Miss Vysokyi Zamok and Long Braid held in Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Berehove, and Mukachevo. Stage director of concerts and show programs, including two solo concerts of the Orpheus octet, performances with Iryna Fedyshyn, and the symphonic concert Christmas Fantasies. Member of the Union of Variety Art Figures of Ukraine. In 2014, moved to Florida, USA. Choreographer of the restored Mariupol Theater (after March 2022), productions Cry of the Nation and Mariupol Poets. Together with Honored Artist of Ukraine Liudmyla Kolosovych, revived the play and organized the Cry of the Nation tour in Florida. Continues creative work with the First Ukrainian Theater in Florida, UArt.
