House of N.B. is proud to have a close and meaningful partnership with the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America,
Branch 136 in Naples.
We are deeply grateful to its President,

This partnership is especially meaningful as Nataliya Kaspshyshak, the founder and host of House of N.B., is also a proud member of the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America. Together, we are committed to preserving Ukrainian heritage, supporting our community, and creating opportunities to bring people together through culture and shared values.

Embrace daily moments
Poets for Peace grew out of a meaningful collaboration between American poet and former National Federation of State Poetry Societies (NFSPS) President Joe Cavanaugh and Ukrainian poet Ihor Pavlyuk, the People’s Poet of Ukraine. Their collaboration began after Pavlyuk’s presentation, “Poetry Under Fire,” at the NFSPS annual convention in June 2024, where his account of Ukraine and the challenges facing Ukrainian children inspired an outpouring of support from American poets. Cavanaugh and Pavlyuk subsequently developed **Poets for Peace** as an initiative that brings poets together to use poetry and the arts as a means of supporting Ukrainian children affected by the war. The initiative focuses on three interconnected areas: providing direct assistance to Ukrainian orphanages, publishing international anthologies of peace poetry, and organizing poetry, music, and cultural events to raise awareness and funds. Pavlyuk was instrumental in identifying specific needs in Ukraine and in planning and implementing the initiative’s first projects, while Cavanaugh helped organize and mobilize the American poetry community around the cause. Their first projects included fundraising for trauma-support resources for Ukrainian children and the publication of *Sunflowers Rising:
Peace Poems Anthology*, featuring the work of 172 poets. Through this collaboration, poetry has become not only a form of artistic expression, but also a bridge between American and Ukrainian communities and a practical means of extending support to children affected by war.
