Participant Code of Conduct and Compliance. Agreement: Rights, Respect, and Responsibility
For all of the events organized by Florida Open Ukraine, House of N.Bwe are kindly asking you to respect the Human Rights. 1. Commitment to Human Rights. By attending this event, I agree to uphold the fundamental principles of Human Rights. I pledge to treat all attendees, speakers, and staff with dignity and respect, regardless of race, religion, nationality, gender, or political affiliation. I will refrain from any behavior that constitutes harassment, discrimination, or hate speech. 2. Freedom of Expression (First Amendment.) Florida Open Ukraine, House of N.B recognizes and respects the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. We value the Bill of Rights and the protections it affords regarding: Freedom of Speech: The right to express opinions and ideas. Right to Assemble: The right to gather peacefully for a common purpose. 3. Professional Conduct & Boundaries. While the First Amendment protects the right to speak, it does not grant the right to disrupt safety or the orderly progression of the event. Engage Civilly: I will use respectful language even when I disagree with the perspectives presented. Avoid Disruption: I will not engage in "heckling," physical intimidation, or actions that prevent others from hearing the presentation or participating. Respect Boundaries: I acknowledge that this event is a private function organized by a non-profit, and I agree to follow the specific ground rules set by the moderators. 4. Prohibited Actions. I understand that the following actions are strictly prohibited and may result in my immediate removal from the event without a refund: 1. Incitement to violence or illegal acts. 2. Defamation or targeted personal attacks. 3. Intentional interference with the constitutional rights of other participants.Participant Acknowledgment. I have read the above and understand that my participation is contingent upon my adherence to these principles of human rights and constitutional respect.
Emotional Content Responsobility
1. Nature of Content. Participants are hereby advised that this event includes presentations, discussions, and visual media regarding highly sensitive subject matter. Specifically, content will include detailed accounts and analyses of the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia. This may include, but is not limited to:- Descriptions of geopolitical violence and military conflict.- Discussions regarding displacement, trauma, and humanitarian crises.- First-hand accounts from survivors or those affected by the war. 2. Acknowledgment of Risk. By attending this event, I acknowledge that the subject matter is emotionally demanding and may trigger strong psychological or physiological responses (such as anxiety, distress, or re-traumatization). I understand that Florida Open Ukraine provides this platform for educational and advocacy purposes and that the content is provided "as is." 3. Personal Responsibility. I agree to take full responsibility for my own emotional and mental well-being. I understand that I am free to: - Step out of the session at any time if I feel overwhelmed.- Refrain from engaging in specific discussions that I find distressing.- Seek external support if needed, as Florida Open Ukraine does not provide professional mental health counseling or medical services. 4. Release of Liability. In consideration of being permitted to participate, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Florida Open Ukraine, House of N.B its directors, employees, and volunteers from all liability, claims, or causes of action arising out of any emotional distress or psychological injury resulting from my exposure to the event’s content. 5. Consent. By entering this event space or joining the digital broadcast, I confirm that I have read this information, understand its terms, and voluntarily assume all risks associated with exposure to sensitive content regarding the Ukraine-Russia war.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE LIABILITY
FOOD AND BEVERAGE LIABILITY I, acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding my consumption of food and beverages provided at the event: 1.Assumption of Risk: I understand that consuming food and beverages, especially those prepared in a non-commercial kitchen or by volunteers, carries inherent risks, including, but not limited to, allergic reactions, foodborne illness, choking, and other health issues. I voluntarily assume all such risks associated with my participation and consumption. 2. Allergies and Dietary Restrictions: I am solely responsible for managing my own allergies, dietary restrictions, and health conditions. I understand that the Organization cannot guarantee that any food or beverage will be free of allergens (e.g., nuts, dairy, gluten, soy) or meet specific dietary requirements. I will exercise due diligence in selecting food and beverages appropriate for my consumption. 3. Release of Liability: I hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless [Your Non-Profit Organization Name], its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, and sponsors from any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney's fees) that I may incur as a result of my consumption of food and beverages at the event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. 4. No Guarantees: I understand that the Organization makes no representations or warranties regarding the safety, quality, or suitability of any food or beverage provided. 5. Voluntary Participation: I confirm that my participation in this event and my consumption of any food or beverage is entirely voluntary.I have read this waiver, understood its terms, and I signed it voluntarily.

Guests are NOT ALOWED to bring food, exceptions may apply.
Prohibited Activities:

* Smoking, vaping, or use of tobacco products inside the venue or in restricted outdoor areas* Bringing or consuming alcoholic beverages unless officially authorized by event organizers* Bringing animals or pets (except certified service animals)* Possession or use of illegal substances or drugs* Carrying weapons, hazardous materials, or dangerous objects* Disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior toward participants, staff, or volunteers* Harassment, discrimination, or any form of abusive language or conduct* Unauthorized commercial activity, solicitation, or distribution of promotional materials* Recording, photographing, or livestreaming participants without consent or organizer approval* Damage, removal, or misuse of venue property, equipment, or decorations* Blocking exits, emergency pathways, or restricted areas* Outside food or beverages without prior permission* Excessive noise or activities that interfere with scheduled programming* Failure to follow instructions provided by event staff or safety personnel
Participants who do not comply with these guidelines may be asked to leave the event without refund or further notice.
